As rain and thunderstorms had been forecast for today I was thinking of how I could collect the water that flows from the bungalow roof. I wanted to save the water for our vegie patch on the hotter days.
Here's what I came up with:
Our green garbage bin seemed like the right size until it started to overflow after 30 mins of rain! I shut the lid and collected some more in a red bucket.

Attack of the Nerds!
Simon invited all the guys over for a PS3 games night to play Modern Warfare. It required them to all bring their own TV's.... even if they were 42"! and of course, their own PS3.
At 10.30pm they had it all working! But that ment they didn't leave until 2.30AM!!
The next time you guys hold one here (which i hear is planned to be soon), make sure I have plans to stay somewhere else!

Visitor
So went out to water the plants at about 10pm after a hot hot summer day, and lo and behold thought i saw something in the dark sticking to the wall, i squirted it with the watering can and i disappeared. came back with a torch and almost gave up, as you can see its hard to find, when i saw this frog. there isn't any sort of water source out the front of our house. its a nice surprise.

Attacking the Garden.
So we decided to attack the garden this holidays. Went pretty well i believe, ripping all the shrubs and weeds and other plants that have taken over the garden bed, deciding to start from scratch when we plant more.
